Opened in 2025, The Hereford Counselling and Therapy Centre (HCTC) offers a calm, supportive and confidential environment for individuals seeking professional counselling and therapeutic support. Just a five-minute walk from the heart of historic Hereford, our centre features five purpose-built therapy rooms designed to provide a safe, comfortable and welcoming space for every client.
Experienced, Professional Practitioners
Our centre is home to seven highly qualified counsellors and therapists, each with extensive experience supporting a wide range of mental health needs. We work with clients of all ages, and several of our practitioners specialise in supporting children and young people (CYP). Many members of the team also hold advanced training in specific therapeutic approaches, ensuring that your support is tailored to your individual needs.
We believe that the therapeutic relationship - the collaborative partnership between client and practitioner - is central to successful counselling and therapy. It’s essential to find a practitioner who not only has the right professional experience but also feels like the right personal fit.
For this reason, HCTC does not operate a central booking system. Instead, we invite prospective clients to contact our practitioners directly to arrange an initial assessment. Their profiles and contact details can be found on our Who We Are page.
